Wide Open Bluegrass, Music Maker 20th Anniv. Celebration this weekend

A run of local festivals continues this weekend with bluegrass and the blues.

IBMA World of Bluegrass Homecoming

Wide Open Bluegrass 2014 logo cWide Open Bluegrass takes over Raleigh for the second straight year October 3 & 4. Part of the larger IBMA World of Bluegrass homecoming, the weekend’s music includes:

Main stages in the Raleigh Convention Center and Red Hat Amphitheater, with performers Sam Bush, Bela Fleck, Jerry Douglas, Edgar Meyer, Bryan Sutton & Stuart Duncan, Ricky Skaggs & Bruce Hornsby, and many more. See the full lineup here.

FREE Wide Open Bluegrass Street Festival, with over 85 bands, 4 music stages, a dance tent, art vendors & food vendors. More info here.

Music Maker Relief Foundation 20th Anniversary Celebration
