Eno Festival July 2 & 4

Eno Fest 2016 logoThis weekend’s 37th annual Festival for the Eno happens Saturday & Monday at West Point on the Eno in Durham. Put on as a benefit for the Eno River Association, the music & crafts event runs from 10 am to 6 pm each day.  Music will be played continuously by over 65 acts on 4 stages. Juried crafts exhibits are open to residents of the Carolinas, Virginia, Georgia and Tennessee, and all items must be the handiwork of the participant, who must be present. New at this year’s Festival is a holistic & healing arts area. Festival proceeds are used “to protect the natural resources of the Eno River and its Watershed for future generations.”

Food & drink are available on site. The Sweetwater Beer Garden is open from 11am to 5pm at the McCown Mangum house, with a variety of cold craft brews on tap. Festival goers are encouraged to use the free parking at Durham County Stadium and ride a free, air-conditioned shuttle bus to the gate.
